Turkeys, Turkeys all around

Thanksgiving Day is a holiday celebrated in USA and Canada.

It is celebrated each day on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the USA, which this year (2011) is November 24th.

Thanksgiving Day in America is a time to offer thanks, of family gatherings and holiday meals. A time of turkeys, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. A time for Indian corn, holiday parades and giant balloons.

Reciting Poetry

Teacher Vanessa, the attendant of the library of our school, proposed children create their own shape or concrete poem related with the autumn.
Shape poems are made up of words that have been placed in such way that they make the shape of an object and also use words to describe the object.

And we accepted the challenge. And here you have our final work
…………………………………………….
