Animal alphabet

elefDo you know that there are over 1 500 000 different species of animals in the world? But… How many animals can you name?

Sabías que hai unhas 1.5000.000 especies diferentes de animais no mundo? Pero… Cantos podes ti nomear?

Why don’t we create our ABC Animal ? First, try to name all the animals can you remember and then take a look at these videos to learn more words. Finally,choose one animal for each letter of the English alphabet and  create your own ABC Animal. If you want, there are many books in the English classroom you can use to look for  more animal words.

Que vos parece se creamos o noso abecedario de animais? Primeiro, tenta de nomear todos aqueles que recordes e despoisbótalle un ollo a estes videos para aprender máis. Por último, elixe un animal para cada letra do alfabeto inglés e crea o teu propio abecedario. Se queres, tes unha chea de libros na clase para buscar máis nomes de animais.

The first lesson of our project in level 4 was about “Living and Non living things”.And we have worked very hard!

A primeira lección do noso proxecto en 4º foi sobre os SERES VIVOS e a MATERIA INERTE. E realmente traballamos arreo!

After having recalled what we knew about this topic and watching a ppt with a video  that help us  learn more about Living and Non living things, we decided to organise an exhibition. Students brought to school lots of photos and living and non living things so our exhibition was a success!

Despois de falar un pouco sobre o tema para ver que cales eran os coñecementos previos que tiñamos e de ver unha presentación cun video que nos axudou a aprender algo máis sobre os seres vivos e a materia inerte, decidimos organizar unha exposición. Os rapaces trouxeron a clase unha morea de fotos e obxectos e seres vivos polo que a nosa exposición foi un éxito!

Then, we created a model poster together to demostrate then how to develop this activity.

Logo, creamos un mural a modo de exemplo entre todos para que se decataran de como facer esta actividade.

Finally, they worked in groups and they had to agree about how to desing the poster.Each student collaboted with the activity by using their skills, for example, one of the students wrote, another one drew or cut,etc….

Finalmente, traballaron en grupos e tuveron que porse dacordo no diseño do seu mural. Cada rapaz colaborou según as súas habilidades así, un deles escribíu o texto, outro dibuxou ou recortou, etc…

Tv Habits Report

imagesHere you have our last project in Level 6: They had to find out about their classmates’ Tv Habits.

Aquí tendes o noso último proxecto en 6º de Primaria: os rapaces tiveron que averiguar os hábitos televisivos dos seus compañeiros.

First, they wrote some questions to get the information required to prepare the report.

Then, the children went round the class, asking everyone their questions and noting down the answers.

Primeiro, escribiron algunhas preguntas que lles permitiran conseguir a información necesaria para escribir o informe.

Logo, os rapaces foron pola clase preguntando aos seus compañeiros e anotando as respostas.

Finally, once they had all the answers, they reported  the information in some bar graphs and wrote short texts to explain what the bar graphs showed.

Finalmente, unha vez conseguidas todas as respostas, redactan un pequeno informe sobre a información representada nas gráficas.
