Endangered animals first presentations

Today. two children from Level 6 showed us what they had found out about their favourite endangered animals. They prepared a Powerpoint presentation to illustrate their oral presentation. Congratulations…Good job!!!

At first, they were afraid of not doing a good job, but little by little, they gained confidence and, finally, they  enjoyed the activity. As always, this type of activity also allowed us to check, learn and improve.

We are looking foward to enjoying the other classmates’ presentations.

Estamos desexando ver as seguintes presentacións.

Letters from Level 4

These last weeks, students in level 4 have been learning  how to talk about on-going actions. In order to practise their writing and oral skills, they wrote a letter about their families at the weekend first and then they read it aloud  to the rest of the class. This type of activities provides a great opportunity to learn from and correct the mistakes and improve.

Take a look at this video.

Let’s talk about our families

pizap.com13955720950921During these last weeks , my students have been learning how to introduce people and how to express feelings. So, as final task, we decided to bring school our families. Each student had to create a poster with photos of his/her family to introduce it. The children became  directors of their activity because they had to decide what  feelings should be expressed by each member of their families.

Describing and comparing animals

The end of the school year is around the corner and my students in level 5 are preparing their last works before holiday break. In this task, they  have to choose two animals from an exercise they have already done in their activity books.

After describing the animals and using the information given in that exercise, they have to compare them. Finally, they will make an oral presentation.
